No. In fact, many of our most successful franchise owners had no prior painting or home improvement experience before joining CertaPro. This is a leadership and business management opportunity focused on building teams, serving customers, and growing a

How do I find customers?
You won't be starting from scratch. Franchise owners benefit from national brand recognition, digital marketing programs, website and SEO support, customer referrals, repeat business, local marketing initiatives, and word-of-mouth referrals. Dedicated marketing support helps owners drive demand and grow their customer base.
How are territories determined?
Territories are carefully designed using demographic data, prospective homeowner information, paint sales trends, consumer buying patterns, and decades of historical performance data. Each franchise owner receives a protected residential territory defined by ZIP codes.
Is the market already too competitive?

What training and support will I receive?
All new franchise owners complete our four-week Foundations Training Program, which includes both in-person and virtual instruction. Training covers sales, operations, marketing, production management, recruiting, and financial performance. Ongoing coaching is provided through a dedicated Franchise Business Consultant and Marketing Success Manager.
Can I operate from home?
Yes. Most new franchise owners begin by operating from a home office, helping keep overhead low while they build their business. As the business grows, many owners transition to office space within their territory.
Will I need to hire employees?
As your business grows, you'll build a team to support operations, sales, and customer service. CertaPro provides a proven roadmap to help owners scale at the right pace and add team members as demand increases.
What is the term of the Franchise Agreement?
The initial franchise term is 10 years, with renewal opportunities available for owners who meet the applicable requirements at the time of renewal.
Do I need special licenses?
Licensing requirements vary by state and municipality. Depending on your location, you may need a painting contractor, home improvement contractor, or similar license before beginning operations.
