Homes for Our Troops: Supporting our United States Veterans
In May 2012, CertaPro Painters®® kicked off its first campaign to support Homes for Our Troops (HFOT), a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for the most severely injured Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. There was a strong desire to support the communities surrounding our 350+ franchise locations; not only through funds but through our painting services as well. Working with HFOT was an opportunity for CertaPro Painters® to consistently deliver extraordinary experiences by fulfilling the needs of our Veterans.
In addition to fundraisers and builds, CertaPro Painters® franchisees, staff and corporate staff have become entrenched in many HFOT events. Relationships have formed and developed and many of the HFOT recipients now consider CertaPro Painters® a part of their extended family.
Children’s Wellness Initiative in Canada
At CertaPro Painters®, we are committed to improving the lives and well-being of children and youth across Canada. That’s why we created our Children’s Wellness Initiative and work closely with our franchise owners across the country to support local organizations with similar goals.
The mission of CertaPro Painters® Children’s Wellness Initiative is to work together and make a difference in the lives of children. From painting parts of London’s Regional Children’s Museum and organizing annual coat drives to raising funds at a charity BBQ for Children’s Wish Foundation, and making a child’s dream come true with Make-A-Wish Foundation, our Canadian franchise owners are an integral part of the communities in which they serve.
